The Philippines Is Building Its Digital Backbone. Touchcore Is There to Support It.

The Philippines is in the middle of something big.

Billions of dollars in data center investment are flowing into the country. PLDT's VITRO Sta. Rosa, the country's first AI-ready hyperscale facility, has been operational since mid-2024, with PLDT targeting 500 MW of total capacity as part of its ambition to make the Philippines a regional data center hub. In Tarlac, a USD 2.7 billion, 300 MW hyperscale campus is being developed in New Clark City, designed to run on 100% renewable energy within its first five years. New submarine cables are landing on Philippine shores, including the recently activated Bifrost trans-Pacific system, adding the bandwidth and route diversity the country needs to compete for latency-sensitive workloads.

The government is moving in the same direction. The National AI Strategy Roadmap 2.0 was launched in 2024, and President Marcos approved the National AI Strategy for the Philippines in May 2025, a whole-of-government framework signaling serious, sustained commitment to AI-driven infrastructure.

The momentum is real. So are the challenges.

Electricity costs remain the highest in Southeast Asia. Specialized data center talent is in short supply. And as projects grow in scale and complexity, the margin for error in critical infrastructure shrinks. Precision cooling, power resilience, and Tier certification readiness are not afterthoughts. They are the difference between a facility that performs and one that doesn't.

This is where Touchcore comes in.

As the exclusive distributor and local partner of STULZ in the Philippines, Touchcore Solutions Inc. brings world-class precision cooling technology directly to the projects that matter most. But the role goes beyond equipment. Touchcore is on the ground, supplying, installing, commissioning, and staying accountable through the life of every project.

That commitment is backed by a real track record.

In May 2024, Touchcore completed work on NARRA1, a 10 MW carrier-neutral facility in Laguna Technopark, Biñan, and the largest of its kind in the Philippines at the time. Touchcore supplied and installed STULZ Coil Wall Units for Digital Edge's facility, setting a new standard for precision cooling in Philippine data center infrastructure.

From there, Touchcore moved on to ML1, a joint venture between AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp and FLOW Digital Infrastructure, installing and commissioning precision cooling systems across the 6 MW Phase 1 facility in Laguna.

From NARRA1 to ML1, each project is a demonstration of what it means to be a trusted infrastructure partner: not just delivering the technology, but making it work, keeping it running, and building relationships that last beyond the handover.

The opportunity ahead is significant. The bar is high.

As the Philippines positions itself as a regional digital hub, the projects coming next will be larger, more complex, and more demanding than anything built before. Touchcore, together with STULZ, is ready for that.
